The time and venue will be arranged to suit you. Please note that having at least one face-to-face conversation – either online via a platform such as Skype, Zoom or Teams – or meeting in person, is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of all persons, including yourself. We could travel to meet you, although charging for travel expenses would be necessary.
In any case, we will always ask for a form of photographic identification; this must be either:
- Your passport
- Your birth certificate
- A valid UK driving licence (provisional licence acceptable)
This can be an actual copy, or a photocopy sent via post or e-mail. Please note that it is company policy, and it is necessary to prove that you are who you claim to be.
When we meet, we will ask you some questions to find out more about you. This is to make sure you are introduced to people whom you have plenty in common with. You do not have to answer any questions at all, and don’t have to explain why. Alternatively, these questions could be posted or e-mailed to you, and you can answer in writing rather than verbally, but as mentioned above, we’d still need to have a face-to-face conversation.
We will then create a profile for you, based on your answers, and show it to you. We won’t show it to anyone else until you’re entirely happy with it. The profile will only be sent or shown to specific and suitable people with your permission, and will not be available online. There’s no limit on the amount of people you can be introduced to, but we only do one at a time unless you ask otherwise, or until you ask us to give your profile to another person.
